Psychologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Occupational Therapist

Our client is an innovative provider of Workplace Rehabilitation Services with an impressive national footprint. This organisation is part of a highly regarded group of companies in Allied Health & their Workplace Health division is thriving.
 
We are recruiting for a Rehabilitation Consultant in Newcastle. Interest from Psychologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors & Occupational Therapists is welcome.

The Job:

• Proactively manage a varied caseload of Workplace Health clients - including Workers' Compensation, DVA, CTP & Defence members
• Engage your clients & liaise with all stakeholders to facilitate safe & timely RTW
• Vocational assessments & counselling, EAP; or worksite, ergonomic & functional assessments - in line with your discipline
• Motivational interviewing
• Attend case conferences
• Build robust customer relationships  
• Contribute to collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment  
• Opportunity to transition to an on-base ADF Consultant role in future - 7.30am-3.30pm Mon-Fri 

The Perfect Candidate:

• AHPRA-Registered Psychologist - Provisional or Full Reg, or Occupational Therapist; ASORC-Accredited Rehabilitation Counsellor
• 1+ year Workplace Rehabilitation experience valuable - candidates from Clinical backgrounds & graduates keen to transition into the industry warmly welcome to apply!
• Bright, motivated & committed to having a positive impact in Workplace Health
• Australian citizenship & willingness to complete security checks (required for Defence but not essential for a Rehabilitation Consultant role)
• Driver's licence & car
