Team Leader or Senior Rehabilitation Consultant – OT, PT or EP

Our client is an established Workplace Rehabilitation Provider with an impeccable reputation.

As a result of continued organic growth, we're seeking a Team Leader or Senior Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist) to join their Gold Coast (Southport) team.
 
The Role

• Provide training & coaching to one Rehabilitation Consultant & more team members as the team grows
• Manage a caseload predominantly within the WorkCover QLD scheme
• Deliver workplace rehabilitation, RTW & injury management services
• Complete initial, workplace, ergonomic & functional assessments
• Build strong relationships with employers, insurers, injured workers & treating practitioners
• Identify barriers to recovery & develop practical RTW solutions
• Achieve positive recovery, engagement & return to work outcomes
• Contribute to a collaborative & supportive team environment 
• Travel to visit clients around the Gold Coast - Burleigh, Currumbin & Coomera areas - referrals shared between the team & allocated as close to your home as possible

The Ideal Candidate

• AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist; or ESSA-Accredited Exercise Physiologist
• 2-3 years'+ Workplace Rehabilitation experience (also potential for Consultant level role)
• Exposure to leadership ideal - Senior Consultants looking for the next step up warmly encouraged to apply
• Practical understanding of physical injury management
• Organised, proactive & accountable
• Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable working autonomously whilst contributing to a multi-disciplinary team
