As a result of organic growth, we're seeking a Principal Rehabilitation Consultant (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist) to champion the success of their Southport team.
This is a truly unique opportunity to help grow the Gold Coast branch of an established & thriving QLD- owned organisation.
The Role
- Provide training & coaching to 2 Rehabilitation Consultants & support more team members as the team grows
- Foster great relationships with employers, insurers, injured workers & treating practitioners
- Manage a caseload predominantly within the WorkCover QLD scheme
- Deliver workplace rehabilitation, RTW & injury management services
- Complete initial, workplace, ergonomic & functional assessments
- Identify barriers to recovery & develop practical RTW solutions
- Achieve positive recovery, engagement & return to work outcomes
- Initially, your role will involve approximately 20% leadership (training, coaching & customers) & 80% proactive case management
- Travel to visit clients around the Gold Coast - Burleigh, Currumbin & Coomera areas - referrals shared between the team & allocated as close to your home as possible
- Salary $115-125K + Super

- AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist; or ESSA-Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- 2-3 years'+ Workplace Rehabilitation experience (also potential for a Consultant level role)
- Exposure to leadership, training & coaching - Senior Consultants looking for the next step warmly encouraged to apply
- Outstanding relationship management - confident developing great stakeholder relationships
- Practical understanding of physical injury management
- Organised, proactive & accountable
- Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working independently & contributing to a multi-disciplinary team
