Limited Registration
This organisation has successfully supported overseas-trained OTs with limited AHPRA registration to obtain General Registration. With an experienced team including Senior OTs & Managers, they are well-placed to support OTs through the Registration process. 
 
Sponsorship
Additionally, they are pleased to sponsor strong OTs who are looking to establish in Australia, longer term.
 
The Role
  • Provide therapy & interventions for NDIS participants
  • Engage & support participants to optimise the achievement of personal goals
  • Proactively manage your caseload – many referrals are psychosocial disabilities & some physical
  • Perform Home, ADL & Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Complete detailed notes & reports
  • Assistive technology & home modifications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team. Work in conjunction with Allied Health Assistants to optimise outcomes for participants
  • Travel to visit clients around Melbourne & work from the St Kilda office or your home. Referrals allocated as close to your local area as possible
  • Provide training & coaching to other team members (for Senior OTs)

The Ideal Candidate
  • AHPRA-Registered Occupational Therapist - General or Limited
  • 1-2 years’+ Clinical experience (NDIS experience valuable)
  • Focus on providing quality service & helping participants achieve outcomes
  • Proactive & flexible, you thrive working independently & as part of a team
  • Exceptional communication skills - both verbal & written
  • Strong attention to detail
