Our client is an innovative provider of allied health services with an impressive network across Australia. Dedicated to quality healthcare, the opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join the growing Melbourne team is on offer.  
 
The Role
  • Provide therapy & interventions for NDIS participants across the lifespan. The current caseload is predominantly paediatric clients with some adults, you will have the option to specialise once you are established in the role
  • Proactively manage your caseload, engage & support participants to optimise the achievement of personal goals
  • Complete appointments in person or via Telehealth
  • Communicate with participants, family members, other health professionals and stakeholders to design effective treatment plans
  • Accurate & detailed case notes & reports
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team & Allied Health Assistants to facilitate positive outcomes for participants
  • Travel to visit clients around Melbourne & work from the St Kilda office or your home. Referrals allocated as close to your local area as possible
  • Provide training & coaching to other team members (for Senior Speech Pathologists)

The Ideal Candidate
  • Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia membership
  • 1-2 years’+ Clinical experience valuable. With great training & upcoming leadership opportunities, this role would suit Speech Pathologists at all levels of experience 
  • Focused on providing quality service & supporting participants to achieve outcomes
  • Proactive & flexible, you thrive working independently & as part of a team
  • Exceptional communication skills & attention to detail
  • Driver's licence, car & happy to travel to visit clients as part of your day
