Our client is a highly regarded Not-for-Profit organisation providing support to individuals with disabilities in South Australia. The team is growing & the opportunity for a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the Adelaide team is on offer.
 
The Role:
  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, enhancing their quality of life. Participants are across the lifespan, with a strong focus on adults with intellectual disabilities
  • Enhance independence & well-being - support individuals in building communication, emotional regulation & social skills to foster independence
  • Develop and implement individualised behaviour support plans based on evidence-based practices that align with the person's strengths, needs, and goals
  • Deliver education and therapeutic support tailored to each person’s unique needs
  • Training & support – educate families, carers, and support staff on how to implement behaviour strategies that promote positive outcomes
  • Continuously increase your knowledge and skills as services evolve. Progress to more senior roles as the team grows

The Benefits
  • Salary of $92-105K + Super + salary packaging
  • With up to $15,900 in salary packaging applied, remuneration is equivalent to $97-110K + Super in a private sector role!

The Ideal Candidate
  • 1 year+ Behaviour Support Practitioner experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Developmental Education, Psychology or Social Work
  • Dedicated to supporting people with disabilities
  • Warm & professional, you are able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds to achieve positive outcomes
  • Relevant clearances – e.g. NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC
  • Driver’s licence & car
