Reporting to the Executive Manager, the key responsibilities include:
  • People Leadership - Empower & engage a multidisciplinary team of 17 with 3 Team Leaders reporting to you
  • Performance - Foster a culture of high performance ensuring your team meets (or exceeds) KPIs
  • Coaching & Development - Provide guidance to individuals, enhancing their growth & capability
  • Customer Relationships - Build & maintain strong partnerships with insurers, employers & key stakeholders
  • Quality & Compliance - Oversee service delivery, audits, training needs & continuous improvement
  • Recruitment & Retention - Attract top talent & foster an environment that supports long-term growth
  • Financial Oversight - Assist with budgeting, forecasting & strategic planning
  • A small component of billable work to support the team & maintain your clinical skills, as required

About You
  • 3+ years in a leadership role (Area/Business Manager or similar) in Workplace Rehabilitation
  • Allied Health qualification with relevant professional membership (OT, Physio, EP, RN, Psych, RC or SW)
  • Proven ability to build, lead & develop high-performing teams
  • Experience leading leaders or others in senior/technical roles
  • In-depth knowledge of WorkCover NSW & existing relationships in the space
  • Commercially minded, quality-focused & relationship-driven
  • Passionate about driving progress at both organisational & industry levels
